Lyon coach Remi Garde is confident his team will be ready to take on both Bordeaux and the weather which has so disrupted this week's Coupe de France last-16 programme.
Frozen pitches have forced the postponement of three of the eight games scheduled for the next two nights, with Marseille's trip to Bourg Peronnas and the clash between US Quevilly and US Orleans struck from tomorrow's schedule and Wednesday's Dijon versus Paris St Germain fixture also off.
Lyon's all-Ligue 1 showdown on Wednesday remains to highlight the midweek schedule though, barring a late worsening in conditions.
And Garde told reporters at his pre-match press conference: "I think we will be able to play as normal, the pitch is being looked after."
He added: "As far as Bordeaux are concerned, they struggled at the start of the season but have rediscovered their level. It will certainly not be easy to play against them at the moment."
There could be a rare start for Yoann Gourcuff, with Garde insisting "the door is not closed" on the out-of favour midfielder.
Reigning champions Lille are also still in action at Valenciennes with defender Mathieu Debuchy dreaming of a repeat performance.
"It's a very important match for us because we want to return to the Stade de France," he said. "We want to win at all costs so we can continue to dream.
"Last season, it was a magical experience. I hope we can relive it."
Ligue 1 high-flyers Montpellier travel to Chateauroux, with the Ligue 2 side's artificial pitch ensuring the game remains on at this stage.
Young defender Benjamin Stambouli told the club's official website: "It's a dangerous game, especially as it is on a surface we are not used to. We know that playing this type of match against a Ligue 2 side is always tricky."
Gazelec Ajaccio take on fellow minnows JA Drancy in Wednesday's other game, while top-flight pair Rennes and Evian face off in tomorrow's only remaining match.
Rennes will again be without Youssouf Hadji, Razak Boukari and John Boye but welcome back Kader Mangane and Jonathan Pitroipa from the African Nations Cup and Yacine Brahimi from injury, along with new signing Mevlut Erding. Evian's Cedric Barbosa could line up against his former club.
Marseille and PSG's games have both been rescheduled for next week on Wednesday, while Quevilly and Orleans will play the following Tuesday, February 21.
