Henrik Ojamaa cannot think of a reason why he would not extend his stay at Motherwell after making a flying start to his career at Fir Park.
The 20-year-old scored twice as Motherwell defeated St Johnstone 3-2 to move six points ahead of fourth-placed Hearts in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
The Estonian striker opened the scoring midway through the first half before Jody Morris levelled on the stroke of half-time.
Ojamaa restored the hosts' lead after 65 minutes and Keith Lasley doubled their advantage 10 minutes later with a fantastic drive from 25 yards.
Francisco Sandaza netted from the penalty spot with 10 minutes remaining but Motherwell held out for an important three points.
"We have taken seven points from a possible nine, so it has been a good week for everyone, not just myself," said Ojamaa, who has signed for Well until the end of the season.
"I am really happy here and with how things have gone so far - I don't see any reason why I wouldn't stay here.
"I think Motherwell could be a good place for me to settle as the older players and the manager (Stuart McCall) will help me improve and develop as a player.
"The tempo is good and the players are in very good shape, that's the kind of football I like and I am enjoying it."
After netting twice against Saints, Ojamaa has now scored three times in his last two starts for Motherwell.
Despite his impressive strike rate, the former Derby forward insists there is more to his game than goals.
"Of course it would be great to add scoring goals on a regular basis to my game but I am still going to work hard on creating chances for others, I am not the type of player who only scores goals," he said.
"Every game I go out and try to do well for the team and I think it is a combination of how the team plays and the other players helping me that has helped me show the best side of my game."
St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas was disappointed after his seeing his side miss their chance to move level with Motherwell in third place.
The visitors controlled long spells of the match at Fir Park but were unable to make their superiority count.
"I thought we totally dominated the second half," he said. "It was one-way traffic and we looked pretty comfortable.
"You have to score when you are on top though and unfortunately Motherwell punished us on the counter-attack.
"In terms of chances we can consider ourselves mightily unlucky to come away from the game with nothing, the boys are all disappointed but they can be proud of their performance."
