Michu: Feels he can still get better for Swansea

The Spaniard excelled in his first season in England with 18 league goals, but was forced to play much of the campaign as a lone striker, rather than from a deeper role that he is naturally suited to.

"I scored more goals when I played behind a striker last season," Michu told the Daily Star.

"It was important for Swansea to bring in a top striker and Bony is a super player."

With the attacking additions of striker Bony, Jonjo Shelvey from Liverpool and Real Betis midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo also joining in the summer, the Swans look to have a strong squad ahead of the new season.

And with their Europa League qualifier with Malmo looming on Thursday, Michu admits that with such an impressive pool of talent, he is unsure what side will line-up.

"We are stronger and no-one is guaranteed a place to start the season," he added.
