Accrington v Rotherham preview

Manager John Coleman is boosted by having midfielder Ray Putterill back in the ranks for Accrington’s clash with Rotherham.
The 21-year-old, who was signed from Liverpool in the summer, has not appeared for Stanley since August after being handed a 42-day ban because of issues with his registration.
Meanwhile, Kevin Long, signed from Burnley on a month’s loan, goes straight into the squad after completing his move on Friday
However, their additions are tempered by the losses of Andrew Procter and Jonathan Bateson.
The duo picked up straight red cards late on during last week’s 2-2 draw with Bury and, subsequently, will serve three-match suspensions.
Accrington are ninth in npower League Two and will be hoping to move towards the play-off places with victory over Ronnie Moore’s side.
Rotherham will be without defender Nick Fenton for the trip to Accrington.
The centre-half sustained a calf injury during the second half of the 1-1 draw with Stevenage last week and faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
However, the loss of Fenton is offset by the return of skipper Ryan Cresswell, who returns to the fray after missing the last three games following the death of his grandfather.
Manager Ronnie Moore is unlikely to make further changes as his side travel to Lancashire aiming to protect a six-match unbeaten run in League Two.
Striker Ryan Taylor returned to the bench against Stevenage as he continues to make his way back from a metatarsal injury and played the final five minutes at Don Valley, but he is unlikely to start, with Moore continuing to partner Tom Pope with the prolific Adam Le Fondre.
