Dimitri Payet has denied that his client ever committed himself 100% to West Ham, hinting that the Euro 2016 star could exit the club this summer.
There were quotes in The Sun – and repeated elsewhere – purportedly from the Frenchman, keen to allay fears that an impressive Euro 2016 could see him leave West Ham after just one season.
But now his agent Jacques-Olivier Auguste claims that West Ham Player of the Year Payet never gave that interview.

Auguste told L’Equipe: “I have no idea where this [interview] came from but in any case he never said that.
“With West Ham it is quite simple, if a club is interested they will call the club, and then, we will see.
“Now Dimitri is certainly feeling good at West Ham, but to say that he will 100 per cent stay is difficult.
“Because if tomorrow he has to leave, I think he will be burnt in public.”
Payet has been strongly linked with Chelsea.
