Sergio Aguero has suggested he could miss as many as seven Manchester City matches due to a hamstring problem.
Argentina striker Aguero was injured during the first half of their 2-0 defeat to Ecuador last week, with the 27-year-old now having suffered a series of hamstring issues in the past.
The City striker insists he will not rush his recovery and has indicated that he may be a doubt for Argentina’s clash with Brazil on November 13.
Ageuro, who scored five goals in his last City appearance, said: “I hope I can be there against Brazil but the injury must be let to recover a bit so there is no relapse.
“This is an injury you have to recover bit by bit but of course I want to be back quickly.”
City have seven games before the next international break, including the Manchester derby on October 24. Aguero is also likely to miss Premier League matches against Bournemouth, Norwivh and Aston Villa as well as the Champions League double header against Sevilla. City also face Crystal Palace in the Capital One Cup.
