Aguero to consider Manchester City exit in January

Sergio Aguero is reportedly considering trying to engineer an exit from Manchester City in the January transfer window.

Aguero started the club’s first two league games of the season but was left on the bench against Bournemouth in favour of Gabriel Jesus.

That sparked rumours that Aguero could be targeted before the end of the summer window, with Arsenal in particular mentioned given City’s interest in Alexis Sanchez.

The Times report that Aguero has no interest in moving to Arsenal before the end of August, but could seek a move in January if his first-team place at City is no more secure.

You can see Aguero’s point. He is a fantastic striker looking to cement a place in Argentina’s starting XI at next summer’s World Cup. To do that, he needs to be playing and scoring regularly.

Aguero also turns 30 next June. Where did our lives go? What happened to our youth?
