Massimiliano Allegri has already rubbished an exclusive from The Sun linking him with the Chelsea manager’s job.
Shaun Custis claimed an exclusive on Saturday morning with his claims that Chelsea executives had approached Juventus boss Allegri with regards to taking over in the summer.
Custis reported that Allegri was owner Roman Abramovich’s first choice to replace Guus Hiddink when the interim boss departs at the end of the season, but the Italian has denied holding talks with the Blues.
“My thoughts at this moment are on Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League,” Allegri said on Saturday. “I am tied to Juventus until 2017 and, as I’ve already said many times, I am happy here. So that’s that.
“Just as there’s a game of transfer speculation around players, we get the same with coaches. It’s normal.”
