Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that a “move could be a possibility” for Manchester United target Renato Sanches.

The Red Devils have been linked with Sanches for over a year now with Jose Mourinho reportedly eyeing the Portugal international up last summer.

And speculation has continued this transfer window with United understood to be closing in on a loan move, according to The Sun.

Despite not deciding on Sanches, the Bayern boss has conceded that Sanches could be on his way out this summer.

“At this time, he’s training with us,” Ancelotti said when asked about Sanches’ future. “We have to make a decision.

“A move could be a possibility but there is also a chance he could stay with us for the season.”

When talking about the future of Arturo Vidal, who has been linked with a move away from the Allianz, Ancelotti was a lot clearer on the midfielder’s future.

“He’s our player and I have a lot of confidence in him,” he added.

“I know there are rumours and we’re used to rumours. But he’ll stay with us 100 per cent – I’m confident about that.”
