Arsenal will attempt to replace Alexis Sanchez with Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, according to reports.
Chile ace Sanchez has made it pretty clear that he is not interested in extending his Arsenal deal beyond this season, and he is free to negotiate with foreign clubs freely as of January 1 over a Bosman transfer.
However, The Sun claim Arsenal are making plans for replacing him already, with Ivory Coast international Zaha the man they have identified as their top target.
Zaha agreed a new five-year-deal with Palace only last summer and the Eagles are understood to be keen to keep a hold of him amid interest from not only the Gunners but their London rivals Tottenham too.
Porto forward Yacine Brahimi is also apparently in the frame, but Zaha’s proven Premier League pedigree is said to be giving him the edge on Arsene Wenger’s list of potential Sanchez replacements.
