Arsenal and Tottenham will not face FA sanctions after 10 supporters were arrested following crowd trouble at the Capital One Cup third round clash.
Arsenal fans caused significant damage to hoardings in the upper tier at White Hart Lane, with the Metropolitan Police making 10 arrests for offences ranging from criminal damage and assault.
The FA have subsequently stated that the matter is out of their hands at it is now a criminal case, although they added that they will assists the Met Police where necessary with the case.
Reports also claim Arsenal fans were involved in skirmishes with stewards on Wednesday evening, while the club released a statement saying they are happy to work with all parties involved in order to help identify any further culprits.
“We are concerned that this happened, involving a minority of fans,” the statement read.
“We will work with Tottenham Hotspur and the authorities on this.”
