New Arsenal signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says his debut goal is just the start of things to come.

The 28-year-old completed a deadline day move to the Gunners from Borussia Dortmund for a club-record £55 million.

Meanwhile, Arsenal allowed Olivier Giroud to go to Chelsea for £18m with the Frenchman unhappy at a lack of first-team opportunities this season.

Aubameyang was thrust into starting XI for Saturday’s clash with Everton, and insisted after the game that there is much more to come from him.

“Of course I was really happy,” Aubameyang said via the club’s website.

“We won the game in the first half and the second was a bit different. We are all happy.

“Is there more to come from me? I think so.”
