Barcelona have agreed a deal to sign Andre Gomes from Valencia for a fee of around £41.7million from Valencia.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder had been linked with Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea this summer after impressing in his two seasons at the Mestalla following his move from Benfica. The Blues reportedly failed with two bids, with Chelsea instead pushing through with a move for N’Golo Kante.
But the Catalan club have confirmed on Twitter that they have secured a deal, with the player set to sign a contract until 2021.
