Barcelona are understood to have agreed a deal to sign Jasper Cillessen as a replacement for Manchester City-bound Claudio Bravo.
Ajax goalkeeper Cillessen is expected to move to the Nou Camp in a deal worth around £12million, which could prompt a transfer merry-go-round in Europe.
The Dutch international’s arrival will pave the way for Bravo to join City and become Pep Guardiola’s number one ‘keeper.
Guardiola has caused a stir by dropping Joe Hart for the opening three matches of the season and the England international could now leave the Etihad Stadium, with Everton and Sevilla among the clubs touted as a possible destination.
And according to the Daily Mail, Ajax will turn to Newcastle’s Tim Krul as a replacement for Cillessen.
The report suggests Krul could initially leave on loan for the season and then return to St James’ Park should the Magpies earn promotion back to the Premier League.
