Chelsea have seen a bid rejected for Bayern Munich defender Rafinha, according to reports.
German outlet Bild claimed on Wednesday that the Blues were looking to secure a last-minute deal for the right-back.
However, Sky Sports have reported on Thursday that an offer had been rejected by the Bundesliga side from the west London club – although the value of the bid wasn’t clear.
Rafinha has only played 23 minutes of first-team football so far this campaign but Bayern don’t want to see him leave as he is a good back-up option for Joshua Kimmich.
Earlier this summer Rafinha cast some doubt on his own future by saying: “I hope I’ll be even more active this season. I have the quality for that.
“I’m here to play a lot of games. But it does not look like that at the moment.”
