Berahino hints at West Brom strike

Berahino has reacted to news of third and fourth bids of the summer from Spurs for the England international, which the Baggies have again rejected.
The West Brom striker took to Twitter to air his grievances, posting, in all its undiluted glory: ‘Sad how i cant say exactly how the club has treated me but i can officially say i will never play Jeremy Peace.’
There appears to be a ‘for’ missing at the end, but Berahino’s message is clear nonetheless. However, with Spurs not meeting West Brom’s valuation of the player, and Tony Pulis’ side not keen to sell, the 22-year-old may be stuck at the Hawthorns beyond this summer.
As an aside, Spurs’ fourth – and seemingly final – bid reportedly involved an offer of around £5million up front, with the remaining £18million made up in installments.
With Arsenal and Manchester United also surely short of at least one striker, the mind boggles as to why neither have entertained a deadline day deal for Berahino.
