Ryan Bertrand insists that Harry Kane is a “fantastic technician from set-pieces”, which is why he is taking every single one.
England fans and pundits have been confused by Kane taking all corners and most free-kicks in recent internationals, including Saturday’s opening Euro 2016 clash with Russia.
Telling stat from @domfifield: Harry Kane took as many corners, seven, v Russia as he did for Tottenham Hotspur last season. Madness.

Alan Shearer is one pundit who has been confused by Kane taking corners, with his Euro 96 strike partner Teddy Sheringham joining the chorus of disapproval this week.
But Bertrand says: “Harry’s shown although he scores a hell of a lot of goals, that he is a fantastic technician from set-pieces as well.
“The way he takes corners makes them very hard to defend. It is the decision of the manager and we’re fully behind him.”
