Besiktas want to spend just £1.8m on Javier Hernandez

Besiktas want to borrow Javier Hernandez from West Ham for £1.8m, according to reports in Turkey.

The Turkish club reportedly see the Mexican as a replacement for Cenk Tosun, who has joined Everton for £27m in January.

According to a translation from Sport Witness of Turkish newspaper Gunes, Besiktas have been in ‘constant contact’ with West Ham about the Mexican.

We included him in a list of top ten summer signings who could be looking for a move in January as he is clearly not part of David Moyes’ plans; he has not scored a Premier League goal since October.

He is said to be keen to leave West Ham and Moyes, who rarely played him during his season in charge of Manchester United.
