Boro v Shrewsbury preview

Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray is facing a major selection headache.
Midfielder Barry Robson is suspended for the next two games after reaching 10 bookings for the season with his caution in Monday’s 3-0 defeat at Blackpool.
In addition, Mowbray is sweating on the fitness of another quartet of midfield players.
Nicky Bailey is awaiting news of the extent of his medial ligament strain while Julio Arca (knee) and Merouane Zemmama (groin) are being assessed and Kevin Thomson (thigh) is rated at 50-50.
All four missed the game at Bloomfield Road as Boro’s five-game unbeaten run drew to a close.
However, Mowbray can at least console himself with striker Marvin Emnes’ return to the fold following a hamstring injury after two appearances as a substitute.
Shrewsbury boss Graham Turner has Joe Jacobson available after suspension.
The defender missed the 1-1 draw at Northampton on Bank Holiday Monday, with Turner having to reshuffle his defence as a result.
Shane Cansdell-Sherriff switched to left-back and Jermaine Grandison played at centre-back but one of those is likely to make way for Jacobson’s return.
Midfielder Nicky Wroe is out with a foot injury which was initially expected to keep him sidelined for two months, but the latest prognosis suggests it will only be four weeks.
James Hurst will play the last game of his current loan deal from West Brom but the Shrews are looking to extend his stay.
