Claudio Bravo will undergo a medical at Manchester City on Tuesday afternoon as the goalkeeper moves closer to completing his transfer from Barcelona.

Chile international Bravo has flown to Manchester having already agreed a three-year deal worth £100,000-a-week, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 33-year-old will reportedly cost £17million but the deal will not be formally confirmed until Thursday, as Barcelona want to first complete their capture of Ajax’s Jasper Cillessen.

Bravo could make his Premier League debut against West Brom on Saturday, with Joe Hart likely to miss out to Willy Caballero for a place on the bench.

Reports suggest Hart could stay at the Etihad Stadium even as third-choice goalkeeper, as the England international is yet to receive an attractive offer elsewhere.
