Burnley continue good form

The Clarets kick off their 2013/2014 against Bolton next weekend and will be buoyed by a ruthless performance against their Dutch visitors, who took the lead early on.
The game was just three minutes old when Johan Voskamp sprung the home offside trap to slot home, but Burnley fought back immediately with Charlie Austin nodding in his first goal of the summer from a Danny Lafferty cross.
Austin was involved in the second midway through the first half – his neat link-up with Junior Stanislas providing Dean Marney with the chance to volley Burnley firmly into the lead.
Danny Ings was next on the scoresheet and Austin again played his part – a neat one-two on the edge of the box allowing his strike partner to fire the hosts to a two-goal cushion.
Austin himself completed the rout with his second and Burnley’s fourth by netting a mis-hit volley from David Jones, and the striker may have had a late hat-trick but for an offside flag.
