Burnley v Middlesbrough preview

Burnley boss Eddie Howe will again be without Marvin Bartley.
The midfielder serves the second match of a three-game ban following his red card in last week’s defeat at Nottingham Forest.
However, striker Jay Rodriguez was fit to return after a hip injury during Saturday’s 2-1 home win over Swansea.
That result ended a dismal sequence of six matches without a win for the Clarets and reignited their hopes of claiming a place in the play-offs.
Strikers Charlie Austin and Martin Paterson remain sidelined but midfielder Chris McCann is edging closer to a first-team return.
Howe believes a passionate Turf Moor crowd can help his team, saying: “They made such a difference on Saturday and I would love to see that same atmosphere again.”
Middlesbrough striker Marvin Emnes will complete his three-match ban as his team-mates attempt to secure their Championship status.
The Dutchman missed last Tuesday night’s trip to Ipswich and Saturday’s home draw with Barnsley after being charged with violent conduct on video evidence following the win at Sheffield United.
Manager Tony Mowbray was boosted at the weekend by the returns of Kevin Thomson and Willo Flood after lengthy absences, and neither have suffered any ill-effects, while Barry Robson too was able to play after recovering from his hamstring injury.
Jason Steele was due to resume training after sitting out since the beginning of last month with a torn side muscle but Seb Hines (broken jaw), Merouane Zemmama, Leroy Lita and Justin Hoyte (all hamstring) and Nicky Bailey, Jonathan Franks and Luke Williams (all ankle) are still out.
