Bury v Brentford preview

Bury will be without veteran defender Efe Sodje.
The Shakers lost 2-1 to Middlesbrough in the first round of the Capital One Cup last weekend and that disappointment was compounded by Sodje receiving a red card late in the contest.
Former Doncaster man Adam Lockwood is poised to make his debut in the centre of defence as his replacement, alongside Saturday’s goalscorer Mark Hughes.
Summer recruits Marcus Marshall and Craig Jones could push for starts after both widemen were named among the substitutes last week.
Marshall featured from the bench along with forward Mark Cullen, who joined on a six-month loan from Hull on the eve of the tie.
Caretaker management duo Peter Shirtliff and Ben Futcher have no injury worries to contend with as they prepare to take charge of Bury’s first league assignment since Richie Barker’s departure to take charge of Crawley earlier this month.
Scott Barron is set to make his Brentford debut.
Barron completed his move across London from Millwall earlier this week and is likely to go straight in at left-back.
Striker Farid El Alagui has shaken off a tight hamstring and is pushing for his first appearance following his summer switch from Falkirk while teenage winger Ryan Fredericks could also be handed a full debut.
Fredericks played the last 20 minutes of Saturday’s 1-0 League Cup reverse at Walsall after completing a loan move from Tottenham 24 hours earlier.
But midfielder Jake Reeves will miss out as he begins a three-match ban following his red card for a reckless challenge at the weekend, so Toumani Diagouraga could start in the centre.
