Hakan Calhanoglu admits it “would be difficult” to turn down transfer overtures from either Barcelona or Manchester United.
The Bayer Leverkusen playmaker has been linked with the Red Devils since the summer, with Liverpool and Arsenal also credited with an interest.
The 21-year-old has enhanced his reputation with impressive performances for club and country this season, and Leverkusen are said to be bracing themselves for offers in January for the player they signed from Hamburg in June 2014 for 14million euros.
Calhanoglu says he has not considered leaving Leverkusen but admits he would be tempted by the likes of Unitede and Barca.
He told Lig TV: “Barcelona and Manchester United are huge clubs. It would be difficult to turn them down but I have not said anything about any transfers or anything of the sort.
“I have not said anything and there is nothing to talk about but of course if Barcelona made an offer I would have to consider it.”
