Cardiff v Norwich preview

Cardiff boss Dave Jones has no fresh injury or suspension concerns ahead of the game and could possibly hand Danny Drinkwater a place on the bench.
Jones has named an unchanged side for the past two games – victories at Coventry and Leeds – and is set to go with the same XI once again as second meets fourth in the Championship.
That would mean in-form Jay Bothroyd partnering Michael Chopra up front, with an attack-minded midfield of Craig Bellamy, Peter Whittingham, Chris Burke and Seyi Olofinjana just behind.
On-loan Manchester United midfielder Drinkwater has not featured since picking up a thigh injury at the end of August but, having returned to full training and built up his match fitness, he could be involved.
Chris Riggott also continues to work on his fitness levels after a lengthy period on the sidelines and is not too far away but fellow defender Paul Quinn (knee) remains in the treatment room. Midfielder Solomon Taiwo has returned to Dagenham & Redbridge on loan for the reminder of the season.
Norwich manager Paul Lambert could also name an unchanged side after David Fox and Anthony McNamee impressed in place of Wes Hoolahan and Korey Smith in last Saturday’s 1-0 win over Middlesbrough.
The Scot is relishing the clash with the Bluebirds, who were beaten by Blackpool in last season’s play-off final at Wembley.
He said: “On any given day you can beat anybody. It’s a really tough, tough game but it is one we are looking forward to and one we’ll be trying to go and win.”
Lambert is still without Adam Drury, Michael Nelson, Andrew Surman and Zak Whitbread, but midfielder Matt Gill has returned to Colney from a month-long loan spell at Peterborough.
