Chelsea have named a Champions League squad without Diego Costa despite naming him in their Premier League squad last week.
Presumably, Chelsea will not make Costa ineligible to play Champions League football for Atletico Madrid even if he returns to play domestic football.
That leaves them with just Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi as their only two strikers for the Champions League group stages.
They have named youngsters Charly Musonda, Kyle Scott, Jake Clarke-Salter and Andreas Christensen.
