Tiemoue Bakayoko, a target for both Chelsea and Manchester United, has ruled out leaving Monaco for Paris Saint-Germain.

Bakayoko has been heavily linked with a number of clubs across Europe, and is even thought to have discussed a move to Arsenal with Arsene Wenger in November.

The central midfielder is expected to leave Monaco after helping guide them to the Ligue Un title, as well as a Champions League semi-final berth.

The 22-year-old sparked further rumours on Sunday when he posted a social media update including the hashtag ‘#CFC’, but it was in reference to his appearance on French television station Canal Football Club.

There, he discussed his future, and stated that a move to French rivals PSG was off the table.

“I can’t leave Monaco to go to PSG,” Bakayoko said. “It’s impossible, because I’ve just finished champion ahead of Paris. I can’t leave for a club that has finished behind me.

“PSG is a club I carry in my heart because I’m a Parisian and I was a supporter of PSG, like my family. They initiated me.”
