Cherries charge past Pilgrims

The victory could be Eddie Howe’s last game in charge of Bournemouth.
Howe has reportedly been offered the Crystal Palace job and must now decide whether to join the Championship strugglers or stay with the high flying south coast club.
They took just four minutes to go ahead as Danny Hollands beat the Plymouth offside trap to fire in from 12 yards.
With 37 minutes gone, Plymouth goalkeeper David Button was called into action to keep out Danny Ings’ dipping volley from distance. But from the resulting corner Button was finally beaten for a second time as Liam Feeney volleyed in.
Bournemouth extended their lead in the 55th minute when Anton Robinson was upended in the box and Marc Pugh cheekily chipped in the resulting penalty.
Pugh and substitutes Lee Bradbury and Michael Symes then all hit the post but three was enough for Bournemouth who moved up to second.
