Chesterfield v Charlton preview

Chesterfield will check on the fitness of several players ahead of the match.
Injuries forced manager John Sheridan into five changes against Notts County on Saturday.
Midfielder Jimmy Juan suffered an ankle injury during the 1-0 defeat at Meadow Lane and he will definitely miss out.
However, defenders James Hurst (ankle), Gregor Robertson (hamstring) and Simon Forde (knee) and midfielders Drew Talbot and Mark Allott could all show signs of improvement and return to the reckoning.
“It will be a last-minute thing as regards the injury situation and team selection. Jimmy got an ankle injury at Notts County, it is not as bad as we first thought so hopefully he won’t be out too long,” assistant manager Tommy Wright told the club’s official website.
“The enforced changes are not helpful but that is football and that is how it is at this stage of the season, every team will be going through a similar scenario so there are no excuses there. Hopefully some of the injured players will be back in contention but it will be touch and go. We will give them as much time as possible.”
Meanwhile, Danny Haynes is pushing to return to the Charlton starting line-up.
The striker made a late appearance as a substitute in Saturday’s win over Stevenage after overcoming a hamstring niggle.
The Addicks have no new injury worries after skipper Johnnie Jackson came through his return from a calf problem unscathed at the weekend.
Jackson was taken off with nine minutes to go but only as a precaution, so he will line up on the left of midfield again.
Boss Chris Powell has plenty of options at his disposal should he want to make changes.
The back four should stay the same but the likes of Haynes, Darel Russell, Bradley Pritchard, Scott Wagstaff and Leon Clarke are pushing to be involved further up the pitch.
