Manchester United are interested in signing Phil Neville’s son Harvey, according to reports in Spain.
Newspaper Super Deporte say that United have kept tabs on Harvey, who plays for Valencia. He is currently playing for the club’s youth team.
Harvey, currently aged 14, has also reportedly interested Tottenham. You will be pleased to know that he has been touted as the ‘new David Beckham’.
He joined Valencia when his Dad Phil became assistant to his uncle Gary, which is a wonderful family affair.
He was previously on the books of Manchester United and Manchester City, but signed a deal to join Valencia and extended his stay despite Gary and Phil leaving the club.
Clearly rejoining United would be no guarantee that Neville will make it to the top, but it would be a lovely story, while also serving as a way to make us all feel bloody old.
