Conte uses press conference to have a pop at Chelsea bosses

Antonio Conte has had a transparent dig at Chelsea over the club’s transfer dealings by making reference to Manchester City.

Speaking before his side’s trip to West Brom, Conte poured praise on the way City are operating off the field.

It was an unsubtle message to the hierarchy at Chelsea that Conte is annoyed at the lack of progress in the transfer market during the summer.

“The reality is that Man City is now a danger for every team. Not only in England but the whole world,” Conte said.

“They are a fantastic team, they have a great manager and also a great strategy which they showed in the transfer market.”

“I’m worried because they’re working very well in all the aspects, not only on the pitch.”

Oooh, you bitch.
