Zimbabwe national team coach Callisto Pasuwa revealed he is expecting Costa Nhamoinesu to make his long-awaited return to the Warriors' squad this week.
The Sparta Prague defender has been a rare feature of the Zimbabwean set-up since moving overseas to the European leagues.
However, he has committed himself to the team's cause by stating he would buy his own plane ticket home for the training camp starting this week for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea on Sunday.
The defender's statement came after reports that the Zimbabwe Football Association has been late in sending out tickets for players to return for the training camp.
"I spoke to almost all the players and they have assured me that they are ready to come and I am just praying that ZIFA manage to send the tickets on time so that they can start coming in," Pasuwa told The Herald.
"As for Costa he has said he will buy his own ticket to come, but his club was still to get the letter of release so that they can let him come.
"Knowledge [Musona], Nyasha [Mushekwi], and all the other players are ready and just want to get their tickets so that they can come.
"Once the tickets issue has been sorted I think we should have everyone coming in," he concluded.
