Coventry v Wigan preview

New signing Bryn Morris will not feature for Coventry in their opening game of the season against Wigan after joining on loan from Middlesbrough.
The midfielder will have to wait for his debut because he lacks match fitness.
Romain Vincelot stands by to make his debut though after signing from Leyton Orient along with Newcastle loanee Adam Armstrong.
Jim O’Brien has shaken off a hamstring injury and is available but Jack Finch and Ivor Lawton remain sidelined.
Wigan will begin the new Sky Bet League One season without four players.
Striker Grant Holt (knee) is still a long-term absentee while Emyr Huws has not yet recovered from the ankle problem which has kept him out since January.
Fellow midfielder Don Cowie has had a problematic summer and the midfielder is due to undergo a calf operation in a couple of weeks while academy product Tim Chow is struggling with an ankle issue, although Jason Pearce (leg) is expected to make the season’s opener.
