Kevin de Bruyne has explained his on-pitch argument with David Silva during Manchester City’s win over Napoli.
City continued their excellent run of form with a 2-1 Champions League victory over Napoli on Tuesday.
They have now won their last ten straight games, and are on course to reach the Champions League knock-out stages.
De Bruyne was once more integral in the win, assisting Gabriel Jesus’ goal as City ran riot in the opening half an hour.
But the Belgian was embroiled in an argument with teammate Silva at half-time, with the pair having to be broken up by Fernandinho.
“We had a little discussion at the time, it happens,” he said. “There’s nothing wrong, after one minute then it’s over.
“I think at home I also get into some arguments with my wife, I think it’s normal.
“I think it’s necessary. But now everything is okay.
“It’s just what happens sometimes, you have a collision of words, there was nothing big about it.”
