Doncaster v Swansea preview

Doncaster’s squad will be boosted by the inclusion of new signing Dennis Souza for the home clash.
Rovers signed Brazilian defender Souza, released by Barnsley in the summer, on a short-term deal at the beginning of November but he has been waiting for international clearance, which has now has been granted.
Defender Joseph Mills, on loan from Southampton, could also return following an ankle injury that has sidelined him for the last two matches, and midfielder Dean Shiels is expected to shake off the illness which ruled him out at Portsmouth last week.
Striker Billy Sharp (hamstring) is making steady progress – David Healy is expected to continue in his absence – while defenders Adam Lockwood (fractured toe) and George Friend, midfielder Simon Gillett and James Chambers (all knee) remain sidelined.
Swansea face a defensive reshuffle at Doncaster with captain Garry Monk and vice-captain Alan Tate both unavailable.
Monk has been ruled out for two to three weeks with a calf strain sustained in Sunday’s 1-0 win over Middlesbrough, while Tate received his fifth booking of the season at the Liberty Stadium and will now serve a one-match ban.
That means Albert Serran and Neil Taylor are both likely to come in, with the former partnering Ashley Williams at centre-back and the latter coming in at left-back. Angel Rangel will take his place at right-back.
Premier League target Williams has been given the captain’s armband just a month after leading out Wales.
Should third-placed Swansea take all three points at the Keepmoat Stadium then they will set a new club record for their fifth away win on the trot, while a fourth successive clean sheet on the road would equal another proud achievement.
