Doncaster v West Ham preview

Doncaster boss Sean O’Driscoll is again beset by injuries as his side prepare to host West Ham.
O’Driscoll was left to rue Rovers’ injury jinx after Ryan Mason became the latest member of his squad to suffer a serious blow.
The midfielder, who is on loan from Tottenham, faces several weeks out having been carried off with ankle ligament damage following a heavy challenge from Tranmere’s John Welsh late in Tuesday’s 3-0 Carling Cup first-round victory over Tranmere.
It came just three days after Rovers saw strikers Billy Sharp (ankle) and James Hayter (knee) leave the Amex Stadium pitch on stretchers in the club’s 2-1 defeat at Brighton.
Already out injured are James O’Connor, James Chambers, Martin Woods, Brian Stock, Adam Lockwood, Shelton Martis and Mark Wilson.
George McCartney and John Carew will not be involved when West Ham travel to Doncaster.
Left-back McCartney was re-signed on loan from Sunderland on Wednesday and striker Carew arrived from Aston Villa last weekend but boss Sam Allardyce says neither are ready to be involved just yet.
Wales midfielder Jack Collison and Mexico winger Pablo Barrera have returned from international duty along with England duo Robert Green and Scott Parker after Wednesday night’s friendly with Holland was cancelled.
Winger Julien Faubert missed last Sunday’s last-gasp 1-0 defeat by Cardiff with a hamstring injury but has trained this week and could be added to the squad.
Midfielder Gary O’Neil and full-back Jordan Brown (both ankle) are still on the sidelines.
