Draxler agent issues response to transfer rumours
The agent of Julian Draxler insists there’s “no sign of a change” in his situation with Paris Saint-Germain.
It was reported on Thursday that Draxler was free to look for another club, having been told by PSG that he was surplus to requirements.
Arsenal and Liverpool were immediately linked with the winger, who PSG signed for £30million in January.
French newspaper L’Equipe claimed that Draxler was available to sign, while the reports were backed up by Sky in Germany.
But Draxler’s agent Roger Wittmann has rubbished the claims.
“We do not care if L’Equipe writes something,” told Sport1. “There’s no sign of a change.
“If someone made an offer then I would consider it and would have to contact the president (Nasser Al-Khelaifi).
“But again, it’s not an issue, somebody would have to start addressing the situation with Julian, but if such a situation does not exist, then everything is said.”
