Dutra: No offers from United, Reds or Foxes for Luan

Gremio are yet to receive any bids for their highly-rated forward Luan, according to the club’s football director Antonio Dutra.

The Brazilian has been linked with Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United and Leicester City over the summer transfer window.

Talking to Sport Witness, Dutra said: “We haven’t received any bids. That’s all I can tell you, because there’s nothing.”

Luan plays up front and on the wing for Gremio but has been deployed as an attacking midfielder for Brazil at the Olympic games in Rio this summer.

It was reported particularly strongly that Premier League champions Leicester were set to make a bid for the player, but Dutra insists the club are yet to receive an offer.

“There wasn’t an offer as well. Probably there was something between his agent and the club, but nothing has arrived to Grêmio.”

Reports in Brazil suggested that Gremio would accept an offer of €25million for the 23-year-old, however Dutra insists their valuation is greater.

“We don’t have the figures defined, but it’s much more than what’s been reported.”
