Sean Dyche has responded to Antonio Conte’s claim that the Burnley manager’s job was simpler than the task at Stamford Bridge.

Clarets boss Dyche saw a five-match winning run come to a close when Chelsea left Turf Moor with a 2-1 win but the hosts remainl on target to play European football next term.

Conte suggested prior to the game that managing Burnley was an easier task than leading Chelsea due to reduced expectations, but Dyche was happy to offer another perspective.

“There’s a lot of noise about Chelsea, you see the changes they made, the money that’s been spent on them, they ain’t bad I tell you,” he said.

“We’ve moved forward a long way but there’s still a gap between clubs like ourselves and the top six.

“That club aren’t going to go out of business. Our club is not only winning as in winning games, it’s winning for the whole community, people’s jobs and stuff. But I’ve got no problem with his angle at all.”
