Easter's double sinks Grecians

The Dons made the perfect start with a goal inside the first minute. Despite a suspicion of handball in the build-up, Luke Chadwick crossed for Easter to score after just 33 seconds.
Exeter were shell-shocked, but worse was to follow as Easter picked up a loose ball on the edge of the penalty box and fired a shot goalwards that squirmed under Paul Jones and rolled over the line.
Barry Corr missed three good chances to get Exeter back into the game, but six minutes into the second half, the striker did get his name on the scoresheet as he latched onto Alex Russell’s deep cross and planted a firm volley into the far corner.
Exeter pressed hard in the closing minutes but could not find the equaliser, meaning Paul Tisdale’s side are still looking for their first home win of the season.
