Everton are set to take their summer spending beyond the £60million mark with the purchase of striker Sandro Ramirez.

The Toffees have enjoyed a busy June, concluding deals for Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen earlier this week.

Pickford has joined for an initial £25m, rising to £30m in add-ons, while Ajax captain Klaassen has arrived for £23.6m.

Malaga striker Ramirez will be next through the doors at Goodison Park, having agreed terms after Everton met his £5.25m release clause.

The 21-year-old made his first-team debut at Barcelona in 2014 after rising through their youth ranks, but was released in the summer of 2016.

Fellow La Liga side Malaga snapped him up as a free agent and the forward went on to score 16 goals in 31 games in all competitions.

Juventus were also monitoring the progress of Ramirez, who is currently with Spain’s Under-21 squad at the European Championship.
