FA Cup quarter-final draw: Big guns kept apart again

Joe Williams

Each of the favourites left in the FA Cup have avoided one another in the draw for the quarter-finals.

Premier League leaders Manchester City face Wigan on Monday for a chance to reach the last eight, with the reward being a home tie against Southampton.

Manchester United, who beat Huddersfield before the draw on Saturday, will host the conquerors of League Two side Coventry, Brighton.

The two most recent sides to win the Premier League battle at the King Power Stadium as Leicester host Chelsea.

The fourth tie is still very much up in the air, with Sheffield Wednesday and Swansea requiring a replay to separate them after a goalless draw at Hillsborough. The winner of that match will host either Rochdale or Tottenham.
