National League side Lincoln City took down Championship leaders Brighton 3-1 in the FA Cup fourth round to reach the last-16 for the first time in 115 years.

An own goal from Fikayo Tomori alongside efforts from Alan Power and Theo Robinson completed the Lincoln comeback after Richie Towell had given Brighton the lead.

Oxford United, meanwhile, made sure the top two in the Championship were both out of the cup with a 3-0 victory over Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle side.

Kane Hemmings slammed the League One outfit ahead just after the break and Oxford didn’t look back with further goals coming through Curtis Nelson and Toni Martinez.

Elsewhere, Michael Hefele bagged a brace as Huddersfield eased into the fifth round with a 4-0 win on the road at Rochdale with new signing Collin Quaner also netting on his debut.

Former Premier League champions Blackburn reached the next stage of the competition with a 2-0 result at home to Blackpool thanks to efforts from Sam Gallagher and Elliott Bennett.
