Think you’ve got a manager’s eye for footballing talent? Can you predict when a particular player’s going to really hit the headlines and start causing a bit of a buzz? Then you could have all the skills you need to see your cash accumulate on Football Index – a novel new way to invest in footballers’ success.

The way it works is simple. There are two lists of footballers, the first team and the squad. The first team consists of 200 of the best footballers in the world and each has a price linked to their performance which can rise or fall, according to their future performance. So, just like a stock market investment, you can invest in a player at the going price and if they do especially well, their value will increase and you’ll be able to sell them at a profit.

Users have a say who’s in the first team because anyone with a Football Index account can vote for a player from the squad. This consists of almost 500 other professional footballers and each week the two most popular are promoted to the first team while the two lowest valued are relegated to the Squad.

To help you decide on their investment potential, Football Index also has a comprehensive profile of each player which includes their career history, a graph showing how their value has changed over time and even videos of them in action. You can buy as many players as you like, as long as you’ve enough money in your account.

Another way that you can cash in on your players is if they top the Football Index Buzz list. This looks at the amount of coverage players are getting in the media and every day the most talked about player is announced – and if he’s in your portfolio you’ll receive a dividend.

The above video explains everything and then, when you’ve watched it, all you have to do is sign up at Football Index and get ready to start playing the market.
