Olivier Giroud has warned his Arsenal team-mates to be wary of the threat posed by Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani when they face the French side on Tuesday.
The Gunners play PSG in the Champions League group stage this week after they were drawn with the French champions, Basle and Ludogorets Razgrad.
Cavani has become PSG’s main man up front following the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester United over the summer and Giroud has picked out the Uruguayan as their top threat.
“Cavani is a player who can make the difference. If he has a big night, he can hurt us,” said the Frenchman.

“I have already scored a few goals at the Parc des Princes [for Montpellier]. If I can make the difference, I won’t stop myself.”
PSG have only won two of their opening four Ligue 1 games this season and appear to be struggling without Ibrahimovic and David Luiz – who left to return to Chelsea.
“The Champions League is a completely different competition and they will know how to get themselves together,” Giroud told French TV.
“Paris are the favourites in this group. They will be ready. Let’s make them doubt themselves. We are expecting tough opposition when we get there.”
