Gossip: Aguero wants Real, Spurs want Rabiot

AGUERO 4 REAL MADRID (AGAIN)
It’s on the back page of The Sun so Chief Football Reporter Neil Ashton obviously believes in his ‘EXCLUSIVE’ that Sergio Aguero wants a move to Real Madrid at the end of the season. Now we feel like we have been reading about Real Madrid liking Sergio Aguero and the Argentine reciprocating that love since the dawn of time, but Ashton believes he has something new.

According to The Sun, ‘it will take over £60million before City even consider selling Aguero to a Champions League rival’, which is the real story here; Aguero can want Real Madrid all he likes, but he will not be moving this summer unless City get the kind of silly money that they can’t turn down.

RABIOT WANTED BY ARSENAL, MADRID AND…SPURS
So PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot (excellent in a 4-0 win over Barcelona) says this:

“If there are offers from big clubs, that obviously demands that they are considered Clubs like Real Madrid, they are truly great clubs but, truly, the most important thing is the present and I am concentrating on what I am doing right now, that is the best thing to do.”

…and that has inevitably led to links with, well Real Madrid, and of course Arsenal. But also sweetly with Tottenham, as the Daily Mirror’s Darren Lewis ignores all that stuff about “big clubs” and claims ‘Spurs could revive their interest in PSG star Adrien Rabiot after the midfielder suggested he is up for a summer move’. Well, they could, but we suspect that the midfielder would not leave a club that has just beaten Barcelona in the Champions League for one that has just lost to Gent in the Europa League.

EVERTON SURE ON KEANE
Rio Ferdinand may have tipped Michael Keane to make a triumphant return to Manchester United, but it seems like Everton is his likely next destination with The Sun claiming that Everton ‘are confident of landing England centre-back Michael Keane in the summer’. Apart from the fact that Keane has not yet played for England, it feels like the right move.

The price being quoted is £28m, which is a damn sight cheaper than Virgil van Dijk, who was Ronald Koeman’s first choice as a long-term replacement for Phil Jagielka.

AND THE REST
Arsenal are being linked with Monaco defender Layvin Kurzawa…AC Milan will revive their interest in Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas this summer…Spanish reports say Hector Bellerin will choose Manchester City over Barcelona.
