Gossip: Fekir, Zaha, Liverpool and Everton interest…

FEKIR TO LIVERPOOL ‘99% DONE’
By our calculations that is very much almost done. French outlet Canal Plus claim that a deal to take Nabil Fekir from Lyon to Liverpool this summer is ‘99% done’. The fee is expected to be around £62m for a player who has scored 18 goals in Ligue Un this season.

He helped Lyon to a Champions League place with 3-2 victory over Nice on Saturday evening and then said that he was happy to “finish in style”. Liverpool will want to complete the deal before Fekir is potentially wonderful in the World Cup for France.

EVERTON WANT ZAHA
We’re sure that Everton do want Wilfried Zaha but we know one thing: If he leaves Crystal Palace this summer, it will not be for Everton. The Sun on Sunday say the Ivory Coast man ‘ is being tracked by Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City’ after his stunning season at Selhurst Park. Given that choice – and the option of staying with his beloved Palace – we cannot see him ending up at Goodison Park somehow.

Indeed, it is said that Palace want a new British transfer record fee for Zaha, and that means north of £89m. Hmmm. Potential new Everton boss Marco Silva needs to look elsewhere.

VARDY FOR, ERM, ATLETICO
Atletico want a replacement for the Barcelona-bound Antoine Griezmann and the man in question is apparently Jamie Vardy. Nope. Us neither. Diego Simeone is said to view Vardy as the perfect foil for Diego Costa. Can you even get Skittles in Spain?

Anyway, Leicester are understandably keen to see Vardy stay – and are offering him a new deal on improved terms – and will not sell for less than £20m.

AND THE REST
Jack Wilshere has been offered to several European clubs, including PSG…Tottenham want to sign Colombian midfielder Wilmar Barrio…Juventus are set to renew their interest in Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin – but only if the Gunners reduce their £50m asking price…Crystal Palace are interested in Fulham right-back Ryan Fredericks on their radar…Emre Can will join Juventus this summer.
