JAMES ON HIS WAY TO MANCHESTER…
Much was made in Spain of James Rodriguez appearing to wave to all sides of the Bernabeu when he was substituted in Real Madrid’s final home game on Sunday night, but Colombian radio station RCN have gone further and claimed that he has agreed ‘in principle’ to join Manchester United this summer. You will not be surprised to learn that his agent is Jorge Mendes.

Oh and according to RCN, James has a clause in his Adidas contract that he must wear the No. 10 shirt so step aside, Wayne Rooney, there is a new kid in town.

MAN UNITED WANT TOTTENHAM TRIO FOR £110M
We don’t think for a minute that the Daily Star’s Steve Millar has the inside track on Manchester United’s summer transfer plans, but he has done a good job of conflating several reports into one…eventually landing on the notion that Tottenham ‘are fearing a whopping £110million swoop from Manchester United for their Three Lions – Eric Dier, Kyle Walker and Danny Rose’.

And do you know what’s ridiculous? That £110m is said to be made up of £40m each for Dier and Walker, and just £30m for Rose. We suspect you may have to double that last figure to get close to what Tottenham would want. Walker will likely go – to Manchester City? – but Spurs will not sell Rose unless the money really is silly.
