Gossip: Man United want ‘over £120m’ for Pogba
REAL MADRID WANT POGBA
Well, we absolutely knew this was coming after Thursday’s Paul Pogba shenanigans, and it comes from The Sun and Neil Custis. He claims that Real will make an ‘audacious bid’ for the Frenchman who joined Manchester United for a then-world-record £89m in the summer of 2016.
Custis goes on to say that neither Manchester United nor Pogba are interested in the switch but that Real Madrid could pile on serious pressure this summer. The price? The only mention is that United would ask for ‘over £120m’. They really could make quite the profit after a pretty average two years.
ALISSON’S STARTING NOT TO HAPPEN
‘Liverpool are ready to end their interest in the Roma goalkeeper Alisson in a move that will bolster Loris Karius’s hopes of establishing himself as the club’s long-term No 1,’ claims The Times.
The reasons are two-fold – that fact that Karius has found some form and confidence, and the fact that Roma are driving up the price having sold Mo Salah last summer for what in hindsight looks like a ridiculously small amount.
