ROONEY OUT
Whether that be next week or in the summer is in question, but there’s no doubt that the biggest gossip is that Wayne Rooney’s time at the club is coming to an end. Read about it here.

Meanwhile, The Sun Online claim that Daley Blind will be part of a summer clear-out at Manchester United but that sounds like a guess to us.

BARCA MOVE FOR BELLERIN
Even if you know very little Spanish, you have probably surmised that the front page of Mundo Deportivo (see above) suggests that Barcelona’s No. 1 target this summer is Hector Bellerin, once of that parish. What they don’t reveal is how much Barcelona are willing to pay for a player who has recently signed a new five-year deal.

They do claim, however, that Bellerin ‘wants to return’ and that the transfer is far more likely to happen if Arsene Wenger leaves Arsenal at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, The Express claim that Alexis Sanchez is a target for AC Milan.

NOW REAL WANT BRANDT
The problem with Liverpool eyeing up new wide options is that there will always be bigger, sexier clubs who fancy the same players. And so it is with German midfielder Julian Brandt, who – according to the Daily Mail – was watched by Madrid scouts as he played for Bayer Leverkusen against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.

They’re just going to end up with Demarai Gray, aren’t they?

WHO WANTS THE OX TODAY?
We have remarked before that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain because he is constantly being linked with better clubs than Arsenal despite not being a regular in the Arsenal team. Today it’s the Daily Mirror and a claim that both Everton and Manchester City are interested in the erstwhile England man.

This is a wonderful line: ‘Pep Guardiola was impressed by the playmaker’s display in the Champions League against his Bayern Munich team two-and-a-half years ago.’

So he will definitely buy him now…

AND THE REST
Former Blackburn midfielder Tim Sherwood could succeed the sacked Owen Coyle at Ewood Park…Real Madrid playmaker Isco could be back in Tottenham’s sights after the 24-year-old suggested that he might not renew his contract at the Bernabeu (again)…West Ham midfielder Pedro Obiang is a target for Liverpool.
